CSCMS relies on a
"Session Cookie" in order to allow personalized and secure access. A Session
Cookie is a small and harmless text file which is placed on your computer's
hard disk by the Web server for the purposes of uniquely identifying a specific
user and accessing the personal information that pertains to the user. Currently,
if Session Cookies have been disabled on your browser, you will not be able
to use CSCMS. Enabling Session Cookies will vary depending on the browser version being used:
Internet Explorer 5.x:
- Click on Tools in the main menu
- Click on the Privacy tab
- Click on the Advanced button
- Check the box that says "Override automatic cookies handling"
- Check the box that says "Always allow session cookies"
- Click on the OK button of the Advanced Privacy Settings screen
- Click on the OK button in the Internet Options screen
Netscape Navigator 7.x:
- Click on Edit in the main menu and select Preferences
- From the tree menu on the left side, click on the Privacy and Security category
- Click on Cookies category
- Click on any of the options that starts with "Enable Cookies"
Please note that each option provides different levels of privacy security.
If you are not sure, which level is the most appropriate for you, select the
option that says "Enable cookies for the originating web site only"
